Welcome to ughMoney! This Privacy Policy describes how ughMoney, inc. (“ughMoney,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares your information across our products, services, website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand what we do.

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into the ughMoney Terms of Service and applies to the information obtained by us through your use of the Services.

This Privacy Policy does not cover the privacy practices of third parties that we do not own or control. When you leave our Services or interact with a third party such as a financial institution or social media platform, you should read that third party's privacy policy to understand how they collect and share information about you.

You may also choose to participate in a third party application or feature through our Services (such as logging in through Facebook Connect) through which you allow us to collect (or the third party to share) information about you, including Personal Information. The third party may allow you to remove the application or feature, in which case we will no longer collect information about you through that application or feature, but we may retain the information previously collected. When you choose to participate, you may be opting to link your activity on our Services with that third party website or service, which may then collect information about your visits to our Services and may publish that activity as you request to your profile or similar feature with that third party.

We use a company called Plaid (www.plaid.com) to verify your financial accounts and gather your financial information for you. By using the Services, you grant Plaid the right, power, and authority to act on your behalf to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution according to the terms of Plaid’s privacy policy (available at www.plaid.com/legal).

We use the following Google Analytics Advertising features as part of our marketing analytics and advertising: Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, DoubleClick Platform integrations and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. We may also use other services provided by Google Analytics from time to time. Google provides users an opportunity to opt-out of the Google Analytics Features through Google's Ads Settings and their web browser opt-out plugin (for more information, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/)

You can opt out of the Google Analytics for Firebase features that we use. If you would like to do so, please click “Opt out of analytics” in the Settings screen of our mobile application, or contact us at support@ughmoney.com.

5. Do Not Track Signals

We do not respond to automated “Do Not Track” signals from web browsers.

If you use the Plaid service to link a financial account to your ughMoney account, you acknowledge and agree that the information you provide to ughMoney through Plaid will be treated by Plaid in accordance with Plaid's privacy policy (available at www.plaid.com/legal) and by ughMoney according to this privacy policy.

You must be age 18 or older to use our Services. If we become aware at any point that any under the age of 18 is using the Services, we will terminate his or her account.

We do not knowingly seek or collect any Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information of a child under age of 13, we will take steps to delete that Personal Information as quickly as possibly. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child under the age of 13 has created an ughMoney account and/or provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at support@ughmoney.com.

8. Other Web Sites and Services

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Services, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our Services to another website or service, our Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites or services.

9. California Privacy Rights

Residents of California have the right to request from businesses certain information with respect to the types of personal information shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes and the identities of the third parties with whom the business has shared such information during the preceding calendar year.

However, we do not share your Personal Information with third parties for their marketing purposes with your consent.

We will retain information you store on our Services for as long as we need it to provide you the Services.

Even if your account is terminated by you or ughMoney, your information may remain in backup records and we may retain certain data if required by law or if it may be necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, or prevent fraud or future abuse. All retained data will continue to be subject to our Privacy Policy.

We care about the security of your Personal Information. We take reasonable physical, administrative, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information. Please keep your password secure and notify us immediately if you suspect that your ughMoney account been compromised or used without your permission.

We may contact you by email with newsletter, marketing or promotional materials. You may opt out of receiving any or all of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link provide in any email we send.

13. Referrals

We may offer a referral feature whereby users can invite friends to use ughMoney using a one-time email. We store this information for the purpose of verification, as well as tracking the success of our referral program. We will not use those referred email addresses for any other purpose (unless the referred user registers as an ughMoney user, in which case we will use the email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy). The referred person may contact us at support@ughmoney.com to request that we remove his or her information from our database.

14. Changes to our Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the most current version on our Services. Changes will be immediately effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified. If we make a material change to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you via the Services or by email to the email address associated with your account. Any material changes to the Privacy Policy will be effective no less than 15 days from when we notify you.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Privacy Policy will constitute your consent to the revised Privacy Policy. If you object to the changes, you may cancel your account by sending an email to support@ughmoney.com.
